A case report of a middle-aged man who experienced a chronic ulcer, which progressed in healing with usual care until a catastrophic phase proved to break down tissue all the way past the fascia into the muscular layers of the foot. Subsequently, treatment with a catalytic advanced wound care matrix gel and hypochlorous acid spray wound cleanser was initiated which supported and optimize healing, facilitating expedient tissue remodeling.
