This article explores the critical importance of targeted exercise strategies in the management of Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD), particularly for patients with advanced stage PAD, known as Critical Limb Ischemia (CLI). It aims to bridge the gap between traditional PAD management and the needs of patients with limited walking ability, highlighting the urgent need to rethink our approach to care to preserve both limb and life.
